The Fender Amp Book by John Morrish is quite a decent reference work, and well-illustrated. Sorry for the Amazon link - it's too time-consuming to look for links about books that DON'T link to those bastards.

For amps in particular, The Fender Amp Book by J Morrish and Fender Amps: The First 50 Years by J Teagle and J Sprung.
The Tupe Amp Book is weighty but also great if you want to get stuck into classic amp schematics (Fender and other brands).

Fender: The Golden Age by Kelly, Kelly & Foster is excellent with superb visuals. I highly recommend this. And there's lots of great books by Tony Bacon and Paul Day which can be picked up online easily.

And there's AR Duchossoir's books, and R Minhinnett's Strat book (Curves, Contours...).

In short there are plenty of Fender books out there with plenty of technical details. :)

Hey, many thanks for the link, do you think that this "mini edition" has the same content (not less content?). Number of pages is same, but they are smaller. They ship worldwide, which is advantage, but they don´t respond questions on ebay, because of too many products sold:

When I see that the author is named Morrish I assume that everyone is drunk and his last name is actually Morris.

The compact/mini edition is exactly the same as the full size version, just a bit smaller. It's a real book, not a CD collection or anything.
