Mesa Roadking 1

Post by ttttravis » Fri Feb 16, 2018 6:22 am

Hey everybody,
I'm in the market for a new rig.
Wondering.. i'd have to drive 12 hours to and 12 hours back to pick it up.. but I found this for sale
- mesa roadking duel rectifier
- mesa roadking 4x12 cab..
going for a total of 1250$ for the pair
now mind you, that's 1250$ sillly Canadian dollars... so $996 USD for the pair.

Would you drive a total of 24 hours for that price? Is it worth it?

That price is good. People around here (sw ONTARIO) sell the heads for close to 2k.

Also depends on if you like driving that long, I guess.

You Canadians must have it rough. I drove 3.5 hours and back once and hated it. The score was good and totally worth it, but I don't want to do it again.

I've never played that on that particular model, but I've got a soft spot for Mesa's. I've never played a bad one

It would have to be an amazing deal for me to drive 24 hours to get it. It is a very long time behind the wheel, and you need to add up the gas and the car wear cost. Maybe bring a buddy along and visit some interesting places along the way...
