Looper and Modeling Amp

I've used a looper with a tube combo amp a lot and, a few years ago i was using it with a Mustang V head. the head has return/send FX and i remember having to use them...but i cannot remember the correct order.
is it
Guitar > FX Send > Looper > FX Return

or
Guitar > Head >FX Send > Looper > FX Return

or something else?

figured it out. i was going to delete the thread...but maybe someday there will be another bonehead like me who needs this answer!

Guitar > Amp input > FX Send > Looper input > Looper output > FX Return
