Out of curiosity, what makes you consider them easy to work on? Almost every other thread I read absolutely hates on the closed back design/pcb layout/speaker constraints.

Re: Vox AC10
This Amp is so Basic even I can do Stuff to it!!!
The entire Chassis, Volume, tone & Input are mounted to the Solid Back. Undo the Screws & remove the Back. Everything is right there, easy to see & easy to access. Only 4 Tubes! 2- EL84's & 2-12AX7's. The 10" Speaker is mounted inside to the front of the Cab with a few Screws. Easy to access for removal & replacement...
It took me about 10-15 minutes to Install upgraded JJ Tubes.. Most of the time was unscrewing & screwing in Screws! Easy! The Speaker was already upgraded to Celestion Greenback by Sweewater. I could easily have done it but I couldn't do it for less $$$ than they could.
