Amp for baritone?
So, I'm probably going to get a baritone guitar, but the only amp I have is a Blues Junior, so I'm wondering if it would be safe to play it through that. I'd mostly be using it for recording, so I could probably just use the amp simulators in Logic if nothing else, but I was just wondering if I should avoid playing it through my guitar amp.

The blues junior should be fine, I've played a baritone through my guitar amps, and now use a bassVI through them with out problems. I've used bass through them to but at much lower volumes.

You *shouldn't* have an issue, but I'm going to make the same recommendation I do whenever "amp for bass vi" topic comes up... keyboard amp.
They have a much broader frequency range than bass or guitar amp and I think the clarity/lack of color altering tone is great for bass vi at least. I have been meaning to get a baritone and I'll probably just play it through my regular guitar amp...I just wanted to present options for you.

What is acoustic? Oh, you means a grandpa's guitars? A grandpa's guitars? That's for pussies and grandpas. I think you know it.

Regular guitar amp is fine.

Baritone seems to fine-ish through a guitar amp, but they'll wear out speakers (particularly old ones) quite a bit quicker than a standard tuned guitar.

Re: Amp for baritone?
Thanks for the help everybody. I just need the amp to be loud enough to hear what I'm playing, so I won't be cranking it up too much. Based on most comments, it sounds like the Blues Junior will be fine.
The keyboard amp is a good idea, too. If I end up playing it more extensively or in a live setting, I will definitely consider something like that. For now, though, it will just be for bedroom playing/recording.
