Congrats!
I don't know much about this particular Ampeg, but I do like the sound of their amps in general. Speaking, again, from complete ignorance, I have to say that this amp LOOKS loud!

Thanks, there is a big jump in volume from about 7 to 8 o'clock, seems like quite a wide variety of tones from it with the switches that are on it, great with fuzz's, haven't had it loud enough to get and grit from the amp. That is what i was going for though. I like the reverb on it to not sure if I need the foot switch to turn it off or not. I might just leave it on all the time. 8)

I used to have a V4.

I miss it, but it needs wide-open huge places to be in. I felt like I always had it at 10% power.

Please use it and make thunder.

yeah it is quite loud, it works great with my fuzz's/overdrive though. I really dig the sound so far

I had it up to 10-11(o'clock) today, I think my speakers were starting to distort, two of them are greenbacks so that could be why. It is quite a beast. The punch that it has is so much better than the mesa.

As a person who doesn't like Mesas at all, you will always get agreement from me on things like this, whether or not it's true. ;) :D
