Pretty good read, though admittedly I don't know much about them to say if the information is accurate or not.

I've been wanting a Princeton Reverb for awhile, and reading about the differences makes me want to build my own...

Re: Reverb Princeton Reverb Article
I have a 1966 Princeton Reverb and it is the perfect home amp for me, though I mostly play clean or ambient. The sounds is typical blackface, but really big sounding and clear. The size is perfect. The 10" speaker is punchy and articulate. The only issue is giggable volume. Once you start turning up the Princeton to compete with a drummer, the rubber meets the road. That's why Deluxes are more popular. But, for lower volume and smaller gigs, it's tough to beat a Princeton Reverb!

That's awesome. I mostly play at home, but if I was jamming with people, I'd probably mod it with a high efficiency speaker and maybe some other things. Part of the reason I think about building my own. I could add an extension speaker jack for a cab...

Re: Reverb Princeton Reverb Article
I have a Twin, 65 DRRI & a RI 65 Princeton Reverb.
These days I leave the Twin & the DRRI home & use the Princeton Reverb. Perfect for hauling, Stage volume & has great Sound. If a Gig calls for louder I Mic the Cab & run it thru the PA.
