Many thanks!
This little rig real does the job in an apartment
Many thanks!
Thanks Steven!StevenO wrote: ↑Tue Jun 26, 2018 2:20 amDamn, that looks great!
I'm feeling the apartment woes, currently. Except my problem isn't just an issue of loudness but also WAY TOO MUCH ROOM REVERB. My place has high ceilings and a lot of reflective surfaces so things sound loud indistinct.
With that said... I'd love one of these little guys. They're so cool!
Well, that's tipping me over the edge. I've got a THD 10" speaker and a guy who'll build me a pine and spruce cab for it.zhivago wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2017 3:53 amBeing the obsessive nut that I am, I wanted to also have some spare miniature tubes for the nano. I scored a few on ebay a while back, so I am now set for life
But one last thing...how do you align the pins when changing the tubes?
Legend has it that a "pin alignment tool" was available from Zvex dealers. I looked online for months with no success.
In the end, I emailed the good folks at Zvex, which sent me one.
I got some stickers too!
I give you, the rarest ZVex-related object...the pin alignment tool...which is actually part of the PCB board!
I think this concludes the thread to all things Zvex Nano Amp.
Rock on!
I do like open backed cabs actually, but the closed back 1x8 sounds great too. Since I want to get the sound level real low, it's probably best for me to go closed back...more focused sound that I can then attenuate.
heheh...yes, that could work...putting some material on the walls too maybe...
Words to live by. Really avoiding dressing like them is also a strong priority if you don't want your bell bottoms, beads, man kaftans and floppy hat beaten to a pulp by the style Stasi.
