Thanks for the Links. I think I'll try some of those when I get my new AC10 since it only has 4 Tubes & see how it sounds. Maybe I'll shoot a before & after Video?

I'd like to add that Sookwinder is 'one of those guys' that chases tube tonez... I'd trust him on this topic.
And heck, even if you don't totally trust your ears, vintage tubes (from reliable sellers) really do tend to last longer, even if you can't necessarily tell the difference in tone improvement.

Do extra Tubes = better Tone?
My 4 Tube Vox AC15CC1X sounds every bit as good as my 65 DRRI. Maybe a little better.
