I'm mostly an at-home player, so I think an AC15 would be awesome. I don't usually play with amp gain, so the EF86 channel probably wouldn't be a big deal for me.
Yeah, the Top Boost channel can do tons of Treble and has another gain stage. The Normal channel is mellower and rather dark. People think "Vox = Chime" but the Normal channel is a very different tone. If you want cleans and good lows, AC30s offer more of that.
Yeah, these 60th annis are expensive. A modern one with a Master volume is a better choice for most people.
