Baffle Board Crack

My lovely Fender twin has a crack in the board the speakers are mounted to. It appears as though it is made of particle board. Is this something I could repair or something I should replace?

If the baffle is removeable I'd say just get a wood replacement. It will take a little weight off as well.
Does the crack run all the way up? Worry ab structural issues holding that 12?

This looks like my 72 PR from the inside. Mine has a non removeable particle board baffle and does t look easy to just replace iirc.

Looks like the crack doesn't go all the way through. Is there a way to fill it or something to make sure it is strong?

It is glued in. Wondering if since it doesn't go all the way through if I could just get some thin super glue to run along the crack with it laying on it's front to try to get the glue to seep in to the little crack and fill it up?

That could work. Not sure if I'd go with super thin or gel based . Or even something like wood or Elmers glue.

As long as you can get it to penetrate it'll definitely do some good.

I would put the amp face down and then inject gorilla glue into the crack with a syringe.

pull the chassis out and see how far you can 'spread' the crack with your hands. get some wood glue in there and clamp it. You can use a single clamp and some thin flat pieces of wood on each side. Let it dry for 24 hours. I've done it many times.
