I know it's not exactly about amps - but it's about connecting to them - so I figured this was the best subforum for this.
Every couple of years I look at wireless systems, but I don't really have any reason that I can't just be plugging in, so I balk at the cost of entry. These seem to be improving all the time though, so - does anyone here use a wireless system, and if so, are you happy with it?
Anyone here using a wireless system?

I bought a used Shure from a friend & it's great! Not sure how old it is but no problems. I really like not having Cords getting in the way & being able to move around.

Cheap,durable and does its job.

Do you find the whole gimmick of "sounding like a cable" useful? Does it actually? It's an appealing concept.Racing wrote:Have tried numerous systems over the yrs and where i´ve come to settle is the Line6 G-50.

I have a G-50 as well. I can't say I can tell the difference between it and a cable, not that I've tried to.... also I run a lot of effects, so by the time the signal hits the amp, you'd be hard pressed to pick any difference in input method. In any case it sounds good to me.mbene085 wrote:Do you find the whole gimmick of "sounding like a cable" useful? Does it actually?
