Best Keyboard Amp for $500?
Not well versed in keyboard amps. Updating my wife's piano rig and the behringer leaves something to be desired. Looking for the most bang for my buck. Would like to keep it around $500. Sound and reliability are key.

A lot of people are content with the Roland KC series (i.e. Victoria from Beach House usually has a Roland KC-500 behind her) but I actually prefer the older Peavey ones like the KB100.
I use the Musician MK III 400 but it's Loud AF.
I don't know which city you live in but here's a CL ad: http://louisville.craigslist.org/msg/5864510912.html

Thanks for that. A guy I know used to play bass through a kb100 I think. If I weren't three hours from Louisville, I'd probably snatch that up for the sheer reason that it's the price of a guitar pedal. I was kinda thinking about Roland too. Will probably be through house speakers 50-75% of time, but when we don't..we need something that's gonna retain the keyboard's tone and project it. Loud is a good thing, as long as it can be tamed

How about a small mixing board and a powered PA speaker?
