Very nice, the best amp ever
Yeah it's kind of sad, the original Mighty Mighty Bassmen defected (I got a Mesa, and light years got a Dual Showman)

Not my pics (haven't had a chance, yet)...
Picked it up yesterday.
1964, AA864 circuit, original Oxfords - it sounds absolutely KILLER!
It's been a long time coming - thank you, thank you, it's a pleasure to be here.

I don't have a bassman anymore
I really miss mine. The other dude I play with has one. I think he's just trying to be me.

Define, "local"...
hahaha...
If 2.5 hours (one way) is local - then, yes!
It was a bit of a trek, but a hell of a nice drive.
Still trying to thaw out my ass...

2.5 hours is kinda far. I passed up on an SF champ that was 30 min past Barrie cuz of the drive. (Im in KW).
Had it been a Bassman like yours I would have walked 500 miles.

We tweedies are in the minority here, but I wouldn't mind being referred to as a Mighty Mighty Bassman
And with the jazzy, of course...

Finally the Bassman (and it's MM cousin) is out of storage and in my house. The Bassman was a 100 and the MM is a HD130. I've started to trace some good caps for a re-cap of them. The cabs are still in storage though.the older brother wrote: I've got a SF Bassman 135 (?- or maybe it's a 100) and two of those huge 4x12 (with internally angled speakers).
I've had it for ages, but it's been in storage for more than ten years now.... (that's why I can't check what exactly it is)
My plan (hopes) are that I will take it out of storage next year, as I'm about to build a music/rehearsal room in my basement. I've searched my files, but I'm not able to find any good pics of it at the moment - I'll post some if I find any.
Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

Hah, and since my last update I replaced the Mesa with an AC30. It's making me fairly happy, but I definetly miss my Bassman by this point. I'd love to have a blackface head w/a semi-closed 2x12 and a fender reverb tank. Aw yeah baby
